Introducing the Cadillac Celestiq

Among its competitors, the Cadillac Celestiq is considered a unique vehicle because it combines the latest technology with a stylish design. This Cadillac model is available with a coupe or convertible style, and features an active roll control, interior lighting, and aluminum components. It is also equipped with a digital platform developed by General Motors.

Aluminum components

GM is building an aluminum-based chassis for Cadillac’s flagship all-electric model, the CELESTIQ. The chassis is based on the Ultium Platform, which is an advanced architecture for electric cars. It’s designed to simplify the hand-built process and reduce weight. Ultimately, the architecture enables the luxury sedan to reach 78 miles of range in just 10 minutes.

The chassis uses a five-link adaptive air suspension and magnetic ride control. In addition, the Cadillac CELESTIQ will feature a 200kW DC fast charging system. A 111-kWh lithium-ion structural battery pack provides the energy to power the vehicle’s electric motor. The Ultium propulsion system is expected to deliver 600 hp and 640 lb-ft of torque.

Active roll control

Introducing the Cadillac Celestiq, an advanced luxury vehicle with the ultimate in ride refinement and a nimble handling. The vehicle will be hand-crafted at General Motors’ Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan, and will begin production in December of 2023.

The Celestiq will feature a unique body shape, a retro-inspired fastback slope, and an aluminum grille. Its glass roof will have low-emissivity coatings and will be infrared reflective. There are also four controllable zones on the roof and the tint can be adjusted from 20 percent to 1 percent.

Hand-finished

GM has announced a new luxury SUV, the Cadillac Celestiq. The company has designed a vehicle that offers infinite color-matching and customization options. Its interior is equipped with 3D printed parts. The car is also designed with a smart glass roof that lets occupants control the transparency of the vehicle.

The Cadillac Celestiq is powered by a pair of electric motors on each axle. They provide 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds.

The Cadillac Celestiq is based on GM’s Ultium Platform. It will be available in December 2023. The car will be built in a new $81 million facility in Warren, Michigan.

Hand-wrapped

GM’s first all-electric vehicle, the Cadillac Celestiq, is set to debut later this year. The sleek five-door electric sedan will start at around $350,000, and is expected to have a limited production run. It will also feature advanced driver-assistance technology, including Ultra Cruise, which is GM’s semi-autonomous driving system.

Cadillac has teased a Celestiq show car for more than a year, but it was only recently that we got a glimpse of the full production model. The teaser images highlighted the car’s exterior and interior elements, and highlighted how Cadillac would use leading-edge technologies to build the Celestiq.

Seats

GM recently teased the first look at its upcoming electric car, the Cadillac Celestiq. GM is building the car in the company’s Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. The new electric car has a futuristic design, including a long, low roof and a hatchback-like rear end.

The vehicle features a two-motor electric powertrain with 600 horsepower. It’s capable of going from zero to 60 miles per hour in four seconds or less. And the company hasn’t skimped on the technology, with an array of sensors and cameras. It’s also the first vehicle from Cadillac with an all-electric powertrain.

Interior lighting

Those who order the all-electric Cadillac Celestiq will be treated to a luxurious cabin that blends heritage and modern design languages. Cadillac designers have drew from their extensive experience designing luxury cars to create the ultimate cabin experience.

The cabin has four bucket seats. The front seats are upholstered in perforated leather, with diagonal ribbons of stitching covering the perforation. The back seats will feature large LED screens in the seatbacks.

The center console is a large panel that features various vehicle functions. The center console is also home to a rotary dial controller for entertainment. It also contains a large touchscreen for the driver to interact with. The screen is large enough to fit an iPad.

General Motors’ digital platform

GM’s new “digital vehicle platform” will debut on the Cadillac CT5 in 2020. The platform will allow for more advanced infotainment and safety features. This platform should roll out to most GM vehicles by 2023.

The platform is based on Ultium, GM’s electric vehicle platform. The platform is designed to offer a lower capital investment, greater flexibility, and improved efficiencies. The platform is also a key part of General Motors’ overall EV strategy. The platform includes powertrain components, electric motors, and common propulsion components. This platform also incorporates the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI.
